The Carondelet Neighborhood Association met on Monday, April 20 at the Carondelet branch of the St. Louis Public Library. We had 30 attendees.

He shared updates about the project on S. Broadway that will add a two-way protected bicycle track from the city limits east to Loughborough and a protected bike lane from Loughborough to Bellerive Park.
Curb ramps will be the first step, followed by repaving, which will be completed this summer. Striping and adding islands and concrete dividers will be the final step, which may be finished this fall, weather permitting.

S. Grand is getting ADA-compliant curbs and repaving should be completed by the end of May.
MSD has announced plans to use Alaska Park as a staging area for a major project for approximately three years. She is researching whether they have the right to do this. MSD has said they will leave the park better than they found it, so she encouraged neighbors to be vocal about their ideas for the park. Look out for upcoming open houses and town halls.
The Water Division has announced a proposed major rate increase. Check out their social media and upcoming town halls to hear more.
Tomorrow starts the Board of Aldermen's next legislative session. All bills that did not pass this session will need to be refiled, notably those related to food trucksl and data centers.
We are entering the City's budget season. The police budget is very complicated.
The next Wards 1 and 3 Town Hall is Saturday, July 18.
